 Nice color but don't like the sticky feeling July 16, 2010

I'm very fair skinned with pink undertones, burn rather than tan, and have rosacea to boot, so sun bathing is not an option. Had tried another self-tanner a couple years ago but was left with streaks and a fake-looking orange color. I bought this product on the basis of the reviews and am pleased overall. After using three nights in a row (and then skipping the next three nights) I still have a light tan that is very natural looking. Because the color builds slowly, I was able to go back and use more where I'd skimped too much(above the knees) and use less where I looked too dark (below the knees). I didn't mind the sparkles--they're kind of fun and they're gone within a half day. The smell isn't too bothersome--on me, it's a slightly musty smell that I notice but my husband doesn't. I gave it four instead of five stars because I dislike the way my skin feels, both the night I use it and the whole day after--it leaves my skin feeling a bit sticky or tacky and wishing I could shower. (Note for other rosacea-type people: I did not use the product on my face--I used Rosacea Care's tinted Zinc-o for that and the colors match pretty well.)

Simply stated, this product met all my expectations. Color starts after two applications. Very natural looking, no "painted" effect. Excellent texture and a pleasant, subtle fragrance. I've tried others but nothing compares.

Based on the reviews on this site and recommendation from my friend, I purchased this product. I have very fair skin color and I am worried about any tanning that looks too obvious. The color of this product is very natual and the smell is acceptable. I deducted one star because there is some shimmer in the lotion that I don't particularly enjoy on my skin. I don't know why they need shimmer in this...Overall, I am happy with the product.

I have very fair skin and this natural glow worked great. It doesn't turn you orange and the smell isn't that bad. it gives you a nice subtle glow. One thing I don't like is all the glitter in it.

After having a bad experience with my first lotion, I decided to try this one since it basically has a five star rating with multiple reviews... I see why now. If you have pale skin and want a little tan, it works great. By that I mean it doesn't look orange, doesn't streak, and doesn't smell bad. If you're picky about the smell, I have to agree with others who I read commented it smells like sweet tea. I personally don't mind this because I like tea and it doesn't last long. The other thing you should note is that the "glitter" mentioned also doesn't last. It's gone in a couple hours. So if you do this at night after showering, you're good to go. The price is good also because one tube will last a while. I plan to buy more
