Amazing! July 22, 2010 Thuperduper This is the first self tanning lotion I've ever tried and was terrified to try it in fear that it would make me orange or that I would streak. But even as a beginner (not that rubbing on lotion is that difficult,) I got an AMAZING natural looking tan. It has more of a brownish tint, and not so much an orange one. Pros: 1) It dries quickly 2) Doesn't streak if you rub it in well and are careful around your knees, elbows, and ankles. 2) No fake tanner smell at first 3) Spreads easily 4) The pump bottle seems easier to use than a bottle with a cap that would require you to squeeze the bottle to get lotion out 5) The lotion is white so it won't stain your clothes 6) If you wash your hands right afterwards with just soap and water (no scrubbing neccesary,) your palms will be fine Cons: 1) After a couple of hours, there's an obvious smell. But I put the lotion on at night, and the smell is just slightly there or gone by morning 2) Since you have to wash your hands afterwords, you have to use some kind of cloth to get the back of your hands 3) If you have any scars or healing cuts, the lotion makes them a little darker. I don't know how to explain it. It makes them more obvious
Not as expected... April 10, 2010 Kimberly Charbneau (Springboro, Oh USA) Being a first time user of sunless tanning, I bought this based on the good reviews of others who are also very fair skin and the decent price. It goes on quick and easy, tans rather quickly, but instead of being pale I now look light orange, not brown/tan as I was expecting. Having blond highlights, it also makes my hair look like a yellow blond next to my orange face. I waited a few days to see if it would change and it hasn't. It's been about two weeks now that I've used it and I'm still orange. The only good thing is that it was cheep which is probably why it doesn't work.
This stuff is Amazing!! March 27, 2007 Raven Leck (Indianapolis, IN) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I bought this on a whim, & I am sooo glad I did! I applied it after my shower, just like lotion, let it dry & pretty much forgot about it. The next day I was running late, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to skip a day. I was getting dressed & thought I looked a little darker, but didn't think it would work that fast. It did! I'm glad I skipped a day-- I have very pale skin, & another application may have been too much right away. If you have pale skin, this is what I would reccommend; b/c even though you see results almost right away, the color developed even more by the 2nd day. Also, I wouldn't use too much--just a thin layer--as much more can make you feel sticky. It smells good, too. I also have "problem" skin, yet have not experienced any break-outs after using this. I have not, however, worn make-up over it, so I don't know if it will affect application or wear at all. If nothing else, just use this before you go to bed. LOVE IT!!! I would reccommend this to anyone.
Great - Unless You Have Sensitive Skin!!! May 22, 2006 Happy Wife (Valrico, FL United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This easy to use, non streaking diluted tanner works great becuase you build up the tan you want by using this product over several days. I had not problems with hand staining becuase I put lotion on my hands first and then washed throughly after applying the Sunless Tanning lotion. I saw the tan appear after a few hours and it was a nice faint color. By the third day it was the light tan (not deep) that looked natural on me. No more florescent white legs. Unfortunately, I started itching where I applied it after a few days. Then 2 days after that a very itchy fine rash appeared on my arms and legs. I stopped using Sunless Tanning but the rash kept getting worse. I scrubbed my legs trying to get the irritant off, but it did not help. It itched so badly that I scratched till I had open sores on my legs and arms for over a week. Finally they went away. That was 2 months ago. Yesterday I thought I would try it one more time just in case it was something else because otherwise this is a great product. By evening the itch was back and this morning I am again covered in a fine itchy rash. I'm giving it to a friend who has less sensitive skin. I have only had problems in the past with products on my face. Things like retinal and other strong products would make my skin turn red and burn. So this is a great tanner- UNLESS YOU HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN !!!

This was a great self tanner! It only cost $8 and it did a great job of turning my pale, burnable skin into light bronze and glowing skin. You can control how dark you want the tan will be. No mess, easy to apply, no streaking, and no turning you into a carrot. Reccomended to anybody!
